BBQ is FUNNN.
And with every fun, we ought to pay a price for giving before receiving. Was suppose to be on our way to East Coast with yi, hong and lan, but to realise that hong & yi haven collected the cake =.=
ohwell, so hong went back to collect the cake while the we have to eventually carry the things over to east coast & start up everything :x hehes. And so, the ultimate way to save us from this heavy things is to cab to the beach...
And the rantings begin...
we met this stucked up taxi driver who's very attitude ehs.
Me: uncle, East coast Area B
Driver: i don't know what area B hoh! [ says in an attitude way of tone]
Me: Main area, near Mac i suppose
And about 15 mins or soooo, apparently, the driver doesnt seem to know his way well and us too, so we took a few rounds before hitting the right spot.
yi: uncle, can you turn back, i think the place is behind
driver: huh?! what what turn what behind, go where?! [ says in a highly irritated & loud voice]
yi: just turn around, we'll guide you where to stop lah...
There, the attitude uncle convo with us. Maybe it isnt enough to show how attitude he was at that pt of time. but, i swore i was pissed till i wanna get right outta of the cab at that moment. Hell, even if the things we're holding is damn heavy. And in the first place, even if he didnt know how to get to Area B, he could have said it in a nice way that we could guide him there as the place gets nearer. But he simply threw this kinda thing back at us and talks as if we're owing him a huge amt of debts or smth. shrugggs*
or maybe, that's actually his way of talking, but we aint kids, dont tink of us as some pushovers or anything lidat. :S Despite the bad service, he still drove us to the destination anyways, but this was also the first time i got out of the cab without saying any thank you. :x
East coast was damn windy that evening. Fire was hard to start up. And this the first time i tried setting up a fire but wasted alot of resources instead. hahas Finally, yun wu came.. he commented that a boy is definetly needed for such jobs. L0L! true, true. Everything really went well after his arrival :x hehs, that goes to show how failed is our attempt trying to start everything on our own.
Things got heated up later at night when Mandy, shar and hong's friends arrived. As the saying goes: the more the merrier yeahs. And it actually got merrier!
